108th CALIFORNIA AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

156 players will play two rounds.
Monday, June 24th: Round 1 (18 holes stroke play)
Tuesday, June 25th: Round 2 (18 holes stroke play).
Following the second round, the field will be cut to the low 32 players for match play
Dunes Course:
Wednesday, June 26th: Round of 32 (match play)
Thursday, June 27th: Round of 16 (match play)
Friday, June 28th: Quarterfinals and Semifinals (match play)
Saturday, June 29th: Championship Match (36-hole match play final)
REGISTRATION: REQUIRED FOR ALL CONTESTANTS
All players must register with the staff prior to their first round of stroke play on Monday. Registration will be located in the breezeway outside the Men’s lounge to the right of the Proshop.
The hours of registration are from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23. Registration on Monday, June 24 will start at 6:30 a.m. At registration you will receive important last-minute information about the host facilities and the tournament. A player badge will be given to each player that will allow you access to the clubhouse and food and beverage for the week. MPCC is a no-cash facility. Your player credential will allow you and your guests to purchase necessary items from the Shelters during the event. The NCGA will send an invoice at the end of the event.
PRACTICE ROUNDS – CONTESTANTS ONLY
The Monterey Peninsula Country Club will host complimentary practice rounds for each participant. Practice rounds will be available on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 2:30 p.m. Shotgun Start on the Shore Course, and Sunday, June 23 after 2:30 p.m. Shotgun Start on the Dunes Course. Club reciprocals will not be accepted for additional practice rounds. Caddies are permitted to walk with their player during their practice rounds. Caddies and guests will not be allowed to play.
Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made by Tuesday, June 18th before 4:00 p.m.
All practice facilities at MPCC will be available only after 2:00 p.m. on the dates above.
Do not call before June 4th. Calls for practice rounds before June 4th will not be accepted.

Players and caddies must walk during their practice round. Pull carts may be used. Players and caddies must adhere to the dress code in this document.

PLAYER INFORMATION & PAIRINGS: Complete tournament information, which includes details on practice rounds, pairings, starting times, and yardages played will be emailed and posted online after entries close. Pairing will be posted on June 17th.
ENTRY FEE: $150
REFUND POLICY: Full Refund less $10.00 processing fee if requested prior to closing date. 50% refund after the closing date and 48 hours prior to the event. No refunds will be honored within 48 hours of the event.
FORMAT: 156 players, including exempts, will compete in the championship. One 18-hole qualifying round will determine the championship qualifiers. If necessary, a playoff will determine the final position(s) at each qualifying site. The championship field will play 36 holes of stroke play. The top 32 players will advance from stroke play to single-elimination match play.
Note: Carts are permitted for the qualifying rounds ONLY. Carts will not be permitted at the championship proper. The NCGA/SCGA will use United States Golf Association guidelines in determining cart exemptions for ADA-approved disabilities at the championship proper.
